Lydia, Surgery was fine. The doctor was unable to put a rod and pens in her arm. Instead he put in 2 plates to hold the bones in place, took an xray and her arm is perfectly straight. Thats great news. However, the recovery didn't go over as well. Her arm was sore, the cast was too tight. They ended up having to cut the cast open to relieve some of the pressure. That about killed my daughter and my husband was asked to leave because he was about to hit the doctor. But with all that being said, she is at home now, doing better. Of course she is in some pain, but getting a new little kitty is smoothing things over quite well. I really appreciate your genuine concern about my little girl. Thank you so very much.
Oh, this truly breaks my heart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so thankful everything went okay. I told you God would protect her!!!! Thank you for allowing us to visit last night!!!!! We love you and that precious girl of yours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so behind. I am so glad everything went well. I am glad you are calm, I am with Brian I would have wanted to hit the doctor. :) I know he was doing his job and it's hard to judge.
Sheldon, I may have been calm at times, but believe me I shed my share of tears. (Just not where Brianna could see, I didn't want her to get more scared.)
I hope Brianna is feeling better now. I can't imagine what that must have been like for any of you. I will be praying for a speedy recovery. Please call me if I can do ANYTHING at all. Love you!
I am a wife and mother of 1. My husband, Brian, is a "Yankee" from N.Y. and I thank God everyday that He somehow caused our paths to cross. We have a beautiful daughter, Brianna. She is the joy of our lives. Our hearts overfill with the love we have for her. She has truly made our lives complete. She is now 8 years old and is such a character! She loves to learn and finds nature fascinating. A lot of her time is spent outside, and she loves every second of it. She loves exploring for bugs and digging for worms. The things that she says are hilarious. Brianna will always put a smile on your face and make your day brighter. There is no little girl like her, of that I am sure.
